Getting a map on your storefront takes two steps: give Nearmio some locations, then place the map block on a page. Nothing is pasted into your theme and no API key is needed.
Step 1 — Install and add a location
Install Nearmio from the Shopify App Store. It opens on the Locations page with two buttons: Add a location for your first one by hand, and Import from CSV if your stockist list already lives in a spreadsheet.
Add at least one location now, even if it is your own shop. A page with an empty map tells you nothing.

Step 2 — Add the block to a page
The quick way: open Settings in the app and press Add the map in your theme editor. That opens your theme editor with the block already added to your home page template. Move it, or delete it and add it to a different page, as below.
The manual way, for any page:
- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
- Pick the page you want the locator on — a "Find a store" or "Stockists" page works well, or your Contact page.
- Choose Add block, look under Apps, and pick Store locator.
- Press Save.
The block reads your live locations on its own. There is nothing to paste in.
Step 3 — Set the heading and height
With the block selected in the theme editor you can change the Heading (default "Find a store near you") and the Map height. The pin colour is set inside the app, under Settings → Map marker colour — see Customising the map block.
Check it worked
Open the page on your storefront. You should see the map with a pin for each placed location, a Near me button and a postcode search. If a location is missing, it almost always has no pin yet — see A location isn't showing on the map.
