Variants are the rows of the Variants grid: one row a variant, under its product's name.
Shopify's own fields
Price, Compare-at price, Cost per item, SKU, Barcode, Weight, Country of origin, HS code, Track quantity, Continue selling when out of stock.
- A price cannot be cleared: Shopify refuses a blank one. A compare-at price and a cost can be.
- A weight is a number and a unit. A variant with no weight reads 0 kg.
- A country of origin is its name or its two-letter code.
- Track quantity and Continue selling when out of stock are Yes or No.

Finding variants
Search by the product's name, the variant's name or the SKU. Filter by Vendor, Tag, Type or Collection. See Finding the rows you want.
