Every change you apply can be taken back, from its result page.
Where
Open the result page of the change: Home's Last applied, or the page you landed on after Apply. Press Revert these changes. It is offered when at least one value was written.
The preview first
Revert preview reads your store again and lists each written value with Applied, In your store now, and After the revert. A value that has changed since it was applied is marked Conflict and is left as it is. See Why a value was left as it is.
The button reads Revert N values, and is off when nothing can be put back. Cancel returns to the change.
The revert
Pressing it reads your store once more, then runs in the background like a change does, on Revert of N rows. When it ends, each value is listed as Put back and read back, Left as it is, or Failed.
What a revert does not do
- It does not cost anything against your plan.
- It does not touch a value it did not write. A revert of a tag change takes off only the tags the change added, and puts back only the ones it removed.
- It does not revert a change made in your Shopify admin, or by another app. Only changes applied here have a result page.
Only the latest change is linked
Home links the latest change. An earlier change's page is reached from the address you landed on after applying it.
