A zone's price table has one row per weight band and one column per service. Those two things are the whole shape of your pricing.
Weight bands
Prices are set in bands: up to 500 g, up to 1 kg, up to 3 kg, up to 5 kg. A parcel is charged the band it fits in — a 2.4 kg order pays the up-to-3-kg price.
Two edges worth knowing:
- A parcel heavier than your heaviest band has no price in that zone. The order falls back to your other rates, or shows nothing. If heavy orders are normal for you, add a heavier band.
- Above 5 kg the price starts to depend on distance and the size of the box as well as the weight — see Parcels over 5 kg.
Services
Customers choose between Standard and Express, each with its own column of prices. You can switch either off — a store that only ships Standard simply has no Express column to price.
What the customer pays
The band the parcel fits in, in the zone that claims their postcode, in the service they picked — plus any markup and rounding you've set under Settings.
